About East Coast Cultivation

East Coast Cultivation (ECC) was born from compassion, care and community. In 2016, when Susan Welch’s father fell ill, Joe Welch stepped up and became a Rhode Island Medical Cannabis Caregiver to support his healing journey. Operating under the name DirtWorx, the product quickly caught the attention of Slater Compassion Center. As demand grew, so did the vision- Joe and Susan secured a Rhode Island Cultivators License and East Coast Cultivation was officially founded in 2017. Today ECC is proudly run by Tyler Greenless and Joe’s son Alex Welch, who along with a tight-knit team of family and friends, continue to cultivate premium cannabis with the same care, heart and integrity that started it all.
